Service Overview

Leverage the power of Movella’s flagship inertial motion capture technology, Next-Generation Xsens Link, to capture natural human performance with exceptional accuracy and flexibility.
Unlike traditional optical motion capture systems that rely on multiple cameras and dedicated studio environments, Xsens utilizes 17 body-mounted sensors that continuously measure angular velocity, acceleration, magnetic field data, and atmospheric pressure to reconstruct highly accurate human movement in real time.
This innovative inertial-based approach eliminates many of the restrictions associated with optical systems, allowing reliable motion capture even in environments with obstacles, blind spots, or limited setup space.
Advanced magnetic compensation technology continuously corrects environmental interference, significantly reducing drift and ensuring stable, production-ready data throughout extended recording sessions.
As a result, professional-grade motion capture can be performed almost anywhere—from offices and convention centers to outdoor locations—without compromising quality.
Real-Time Preview with n-Links
The Partner Studio Plan includes complimentary real-time preview support using the Japanese retargeting software n-Links at no additional charge.
During motion capture sessions for 3D characters, performers and production staff can preview captured motion in real time using the actual character model intended for the final production. This allows for smoother recording sessions and immediate verification of performance results. Please note that, depending on the 3D model provided, an additional setup fee of JPY 22,000 (tax included) may be required.

Pricing
Depending on your project requirements, you can choose from two recording plans.
We offer a Partner Studio Plan, ideal for smaller-scale projects and recorded at one of our partner studios, as well as an On-Site Recording Plan, in which our team travels to your preferred location, whether indoors or outdoors, regardless of project scale.
Data cleaning is included in the recording fee, and a range of optional services is available to accommodate more specific production requirements.
