i-Pairs Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Mamoru Ito) will hold the 3D character live event “Sasara & Tsuzumi Autumn ~Hare Butai!~,” which was originally held on November 17, 2023, as “Sasara & Tsuzumi Autumn ~Hare Butai!~ Special Revival” on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at a venue in Tokyo.
In this performance, the high-realism live viewing system “Distance Viewing” developed by Yamaha Corporation and the newly developed recording and playback system ”GPAP (General Purpose Audio Protocol)” will be used. The stage will recreate the recorded data from last year’s live event. This will be the first time a 3D character virtual live uses “Distance Viewing” and “GPAP”.
■Regarding to “Distance Viewing”
“Distance Viewing” is a high-realism live viewing system developed by Yamaha Corporation.
Based on audio, lighting, and video data recorded at an actual live event, it faithfully reproduces the powerful sound of the live performance at the live viewing venue, with life-sized images on a large screen and lighting effects, bringing the performance to life on stage.
■Regarding to “GPAP（General Purpose Audio Protocol）”
“GPAP (General Purpose Audio Protocol)” is the world’s first (*) system developed by Yamaha Corporation to unify various data formats, including not only audio but also video and lighting control signals, into the audio data format (wav data) for recording and playback. “GPAP” can save and play back various digital data, including audio, lighting, and stage equipment control signals, in a unified wav format, allowing easy synchronized playback without complex synchronization processes, and also enabling comprehensive data distribution.
i-Pairs has also provided technical cooperation, such as research data provision, for the development of “GPAP”.

■Regarding to “Sasara & Tsuzumi Autumn ~Hare Butai!~”
This event is a character live event realized through crowdfunding.
Featuring the flagship characters “Sato Sasara” and “Suzuki Tsuzumi” from the new generation voice creation software “CeVIO AI”, which precisely reproduces human voice qualities, nuances, singing, and speaking styles using AI technology, it was held on November 17, 2023, at “harevutai” in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
The two characters were vividly displayed on a large screen set up on the stage, delivering an overwhelming sense of realism and impact to the audience with professional lighting effects and live band performances.
