Graduated from Berklee College of Music, Guitar Major and Songwriting Department.

With stable play based on solid knowledge and experience, and the flexibility gained from live and session performances across various nationalities and genres, I engage in a wide range of activities as a guitarist, from jazz to pop.

In 2003, I passed the Berklee College of Music scholarship audition and went to the United States in September of the same year. While learning various guitar styles, I studied composition and arrangement in the Songwriting Department. After returning to Japan, I have been actively involved in live support, recording, and artist production as a guitarist.

In 2016, I released my first leader work “Minor Mood” nationwide as the Taichi Minagawa Quartet under Terashima Records.
In 2018, I released “URBAN GROOVE SESSION” nationwide as Miho Terachi & Taichi Minagawa. It received favorable reviews, including a feature interview in the jazz magazine JAZZ JAPAN and ranking first in Amazon’s best-selling rankings.

In October 2021, I established GLAD Sound LLC, a music production company with the concept of “happy sounds,” producing content related to sound such as CM music, sound logos, and audio production.

In April 2023, I participated as the arranger and guitarist for all tracks on Kumiko Yamashita’s first jazz album “JAZZ’N’KUMIKO.”

I am actively engaged in both managing the company and working as a guitarist.
